Character roleplay · #18 of 77 by score

Talkie review

One of the largest character-chat communities, with a generous free tier, creator tools, voices and collectible cards. It is safe-for-work and open to teens, memory is weak, and ads and gem spending are heavy.

Facts checked October 2026

Verdict

Talkie has a huge, active catalog of user-made characters, a generous free tier, cheap upgrades at $49.99 a year and creator tools for images, video, audio and music. It is not an adult app: pornographic and suggestive content is banned, and the minimum age is 14 in most countries. Memory is weak by the company's own admission, filters trigger too often, ads are frequent and gem spending works like loot boxes.
