Verdict
Erogen is a good low-cost pick for text roleplay. The free plan allows up to 600 messages a day, and $15 a month removes the cap and adds premium models and 1,000 credits. The catches: context tops out at 16K even on the $35 Platinum plan, third-party reviews report repetition and memory slips in long stories, and images, calls and video all cost credits. The operator gives little public detail, chats go to unnamed AI providers, and you only have to state your age.

Overview
Erogen is run by Corinth LLC, which lists an address in Sheridan, Wyoming, that registered agents commonly use. It launched on 28 September 2023 with a post on Reddit. It works only in the browser: there is no iOS or Android app, and the FAQ suggests adding the site to your home screen. You chat with characters from the Explore library, many of them made by other users and tagged by gender, orientation, art style and genre, or with characters you build in a detailed creator. You can edit messages on both sides, regenerate replies, set up personas and copy a chat into a new one.
Erogen Studio makes images in batches of up to eight, edits images from a written description and turns text or an image into a 5-second video clip, in photorealistic, anime, manga or illustrated styles. There are also voice messages, read-aloud, dictation, real-time phone calls and audio stories (in beta). These run on credits: 20 per image, 10 per minute of calls and 10 to 20 per second of video. Context is 4K on the free plan, 8K on Silver and 16K on Platinum, and long-term core memory (8 or 24 slots) needs a paid plan. Erogen does not say which language models it uses, and it does not document group chat with several characters.

Credits never expire. They pay for images (20 each), calls (10 a minute), AI voice messages (5 each), video (10 to 20 a second, or 100 for a 5-second 720p clip) and story episodes (25 each, or 150 for a character pass). Top-up prices are not listed. If you keep renewing, you get 25% more credits after 3 months, 50% more after 6 months and a full extra month of credits each year. Billing runs through Epoch, CCBill, Centrobill or crypto. Some crypto plans renew through a wallet allowance that you must cancel yourself. You can get a refund within 30 days only if you have not sent a message or made an image since buying, and G2A keys cannot be refunded.

- CautionChats go to unnamed third-party AI providers, and they keep no data only where those providers offer that option. The April 2026 privacy policy does not say whether chats are used to train AI models.
- CautionThe terms give Erogen a permanent, irrevocable licence to anything you post, including your image and voice. No retention periods are set, and some data is kept after you delete your account.
- CautionCorinth LLC gives only a registered-agent address in Wyoming, and you only have to state your age.
- NoteThe policy says Erogen does not sell personal data and honours Global Privacy Control. Data goes to Google Analytics, Trackdesk and the payment processors, and card details stay with the processors. No breaches, leaks or lawsuits found as of October 2026.

There is little independent feedback. Erogen has no Trustpilot profile and no App Store or Google Play listing, so there are no user ratings. FlashDevelop (August 2026, with affiliate links) gives it 3.5 out of 5: it praises cheap unlimited roleplay and customization but criticizes the small context window. AI Gear Base (June 2026) scores it 7.3 out of 10 and mentions repetition and inconsistent memory. Similarweb estimates about 30,000 visits in September 2026, so the user base is small.

Does Erogen allow adult content?
Yes. Erogen is for adults 18+ and allows romantic and sexual roleplay between consenting adults, plus explicit images and video in Studio within its rules. You only have to state that you are an adult; no age check is described. The rules ban minors, childlike traits, ageplay, school settings below university, blood-relative incest, grooming, non-consent and real people's likenesses, and every character must have a stated age over 18. Erogen says it reviews all public characters. Even so, in October 2026 a public character shown in the recommendations was described as a high school student, and a few featured student characters did not say they were at university, as the rules require.
