GirlfriendGPT packs a lot into a web-only service: a community library that directories put at 21,000 to 25,000 characters, a character builder with voices, a memory panel where you can add, edit and delete memories, images in 10 styles and short image-to-video clips. The catch is the price ladder. The free plan is a trial of roughly 10 to 20 messages, voice calls and 10-second videos start at $35 a month on Deluxe, and the largest memory and best models need the $50 Elite plan, with media drawn from a separate coin balance and refunds rarely given. Its privacy policy usually keeps data for six years, says nothing about training on chats, and its written age policy relies on self-declaration.

Overview
GirlfriendGPT is run by NextDay AI Incorporated in Montreal, Quebec, with sister companies listed in Delaware, USA and Limassol, Cyprus. It launched in 2023 and works only in the browser: there are no App Store or Google Play apps, and the site tells you to install it as a web app (PWA) instead. You chat with AI girlfriends, AI boyfriends and community-made characters, build your own characters with appearance, personality, behaviour and voice settings, and manage what the AI remembers in a per-chat memory panel. The company claims nearly 50 million users, mostly aged 18 to 24, but that figure is its own and unverified. It is unrelated to an open-source GitHub project with the same name.
Media covers images in 10 art styles with up to 8 per prompt, a separate anime art generator, voice messages, voice calls from Deluxe up, and an image-to-video tool with Lite and Pro models. Current pricing lists 5-second clips on Premium and 10-second clips on Deluxe, although a March 2026 guide said video was for Deluxe and Elite only. Messages are capped at 5,000 a month on Premium and 20,000 on Deluxe, and memory grows from 8K context on Deluxe to up to 32K on select Elite models. The sources checked do not say which chat languages are supported; checkout does offer Kakao Pay for Korean users.

Messages and coins are metered separately. Coins pay for images, videos and unlocking character galleries, extra coins can be bought through a Buy Coins option (pack prices were not confirmed), and unused monthly messages do not carry over. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time. Refunds are generally refused except for the company's own errors or technical problems; CCBill purchases are refunded through CCBill and requests are reviewed within 14 days. Payment options include card, pay by bank, one-time payment and Kakao Pay.
