Muah AI markets itself as an uncensored AI companion and works in the browser, with an Android app you download from its own site. Its model picker lists options labelled Grok, DeepSeek, Gemini and GPT-5, with settings such as temperature. You can describe a character in free text, build one from a photo, or import and export character cards, and there is a community gallery.
Media is broad on the higher plans: realistic and anime photos, voice messages, photo-to-video with sound, music, and live calls on the top plan. In September 2024 a hacker took the site's database. Have I Been Pwned lists 1,910,261 affected accounts, and the leaked data tied email addresses, many containing real names, to the prompts users had written. Reporters found prompts describing child sexual abuse, and the data was reportedly used in extortion attempts.
