Verdict
Eternal AI is built around discovery. It has a matchmaker character, a swipe view and a library of user-made Plays, plus a detailed character builder whose heat setting runs from slow burn to explicit. Images and videos come from its Imagine tool and cost Diamonds, which the official site sells from $0.99 for 100 (new users only) to $49.99 for 2,500. The VIP price and free limits only appear after sign-up, and the memory claims are vague. The operator appears under several names, you cannot opt out of model training, and age is self-declared.

Score breakdown
Eternal AIAverage of all 77 apps
Overview
Eternal AI's iOS privacy policy and terms, both dated July 2026, name the operator as EternalAI Labs OÜ in Tallinn, Estonia. The App Store lists the seller as Eternal AI Limited, and Google Play shows Eternal AI Labs. The companion app arrived in early 2026 on a domain that hosted a different, crypto-based Eternal AI project in 2024. It is also separate from eternal.ai, a 2023 app for chatting with historical figures. You can browse prebuilt characters on a Discover feed, get introductions from Lucy, a matchmaker character, or swipe through profiles in a Match view. User-made Plays add roleplay scenarios. Play Studio lets you build your own characters and advertises a 20% revenue share for creators of published plays.
Media runs through the Imagine tool, which makes images and videos in preset styles and saves them to a Gallery. Uploaded photos must show fictional or AI-generated characters, not real people. The company says it uses WAN 2.2 for video and Qwen Edit 2512 for image editing, but it does not name its chat model. Voice messages are a VIP perk. Site FAQs mention voice conversations, but no independent source confirms them. The App Store listing says characters remember what you share across conversations, but there is no documented way to edit memories. Eternal AI runs in the browser with no install, on iOS 16.4 and later (including Apple-silicon Macs) and on Android. The iOS app lists English plus 18 other languages.

Diamonds pay for extended chat, premium interactions, images and videos. A third-party review puts the cost at about 0.8 Diamonds per image and 4 per video. Creating a character costs 100 Diamonds and each new cover image costs 50. Creators can also pay 0.08 Diamonds per message to give new players free messages. The App Store lists in-app purchases called Spark ($2.49 and $9.99), Flame ($12.49), Eternal Starter Pack ($1.39) and Eternal Small Pack ($14.99), with no billing periods stated (October 2026). Official pages contradict each other on whether images and videos need a subscription. On iOS, Apple handles cancellations and refunds. There is no posted refund policy for web Diamond purchases, and the iOS terms do not cover Diamonds.

Privacy & safety
Eternal AI has no known breaches and lets you delete your account in the app. However, the operator's identity is unclear, the policy sets no retention periods and has no training opt-out, and its Google Play disclosures list far less than the iOS policy collects.
- CautionOnly the company's own July 2026 iOS documents name the operator, as EternalAI Labs OÜ in Tallinn, Estonia. The App Store seller is Eternal AI Limited, Google Play shows Eternal AI Labs and Trustpilot gives a US location. The domain once hosted a crypto token project and a staking page is still live there. The policy also collects a wallet identifier.
- CautionThe iOS privacy policy offers no way to opt chats out of model training, sets no retention periods and does not name its hosting or AI providers. It collects conversations, images and voice recordings, and data may be processed in other countries.
- CautionGoogle Play's data safety section says only device IDs are collected and nothing is shared, which is far narrower than the iOS policy. Clearing a chat may leave server logs, hosted media and backups in place.
- NoteYou can delete your account in the app's settings. Disputes go to individual arbitration in Singapore, with a class-action waiver. No breaches, lawsuits or regulator actions found.
What users say
The iOS app has 4.0 stars from 88 ratings on the App Store (October 2026). Reviewers praise realistic replies and emotional comfort, and complain about characters breaking role and relationship status dropping after a break. The Trustpilot profile, claimed in June 2026, shows no reviews. A third-party review from August 2026 describes Reddit feedback as mostly critical of recent updates and the removal of custom photo support. Most other coverage comes from promotional listicles, so there is little independent feedback.
Eternal AI FAQ
Is Eternal AI free?
Yes. The site calls Eternal AI free to try, and chat is free up to a usage limit that it does not publish. One App Store reviewer says chat stays free until heavy use and that the first companion's VIP features are free. A third-party review from August 2026 reports 5 images and 1 video on the free tier, plus daily check-in rewards.
How much does Eternal AI cost?
Eternal AI does not publish its VIP subscription price. Plan names, prices and billing periods only appear after sign-up, and the web pricing page listed no plans in October 2026. Paid features run on Diamonds. The official site sells 100 for $0.99 (new users only, with a 150% bonus), 400 for $9.99 and 2,500 for $49.99 (with a 25% bonus). Does Eternal AI allow adult content?
Yes. Eternal AI is for adults 18+, or older where the local age of majority is higher, and the App Store rates it 18+. Age is self-declared, and no verification method is described. The site has an Erotic AI Chat category promoted as uncensored, the character builder's heat setting goes as far as explicit from the start, and the Imagine tool is described as uncensored. The terms ban content that sexualises minors, non-consensual intimate content, harmful impersonation of real people and attempts to get around safety measures. New characters and plays go through admin review. Characters shown on the site are aged 18 to 27, but some user-made plays use step-family and babysitter scenarios with 18-year-old characters. Imagine forbids uploading photos of real people, but the character builder's reference-portrait option states no such rule.

Eternal AI has no known breaches and lets you delete your account in the app. However, the operator's identity is unclear, the policy sets no retention periods and has no training opt-out, and its Google Play disclosures list far less than the iOS policy collects.
